Tenders & Recruitment
Project Development Officer
£35,000 pro rata, 0.5fte role
We’re recruiting a Project Development Officer to support the Redruth Revival board as we deliver the major Buttermarket capital project which runs to June 2024. The post-holder will work across all areas of our activity – alongside the £4 million capital project, we own and operate the Old Bank Studios in Fore Street and we have just purchased the large Fair Meadow Car Park adjacent to the Buttermarket. We are a key organiser of the Town Markets and play an active role in the town’s festivals and events – you can see some of our activities on our Redruth Revival Facebook page.
This is a limited period contract, expected to run to mid-2024, but that will be subject to review as the organisation grows and develops.
Deadline for applications – 12 noon on Tuesday 2nd May 2023
Heritage Engagement Officer
Freelance contract to early 2027, approximate fee £18,000 + VAT if applicable
Redruth Revival seeks to appoint a suitably experienced person to deliver activities with a range of audiences as part of our major refurbishment of the Buttermarket complex of buildings which is being part-funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund under its Heritage Enterprise scheme, alongside funding from the High Street Heritage Action Zone and the Architectural Heritage Fund.
The overall purpose of this commission is to engage local people with the heritage of the Buttermarket and to deliver our heritage activity plan – this has been designed to reach out to key audiences, predominantly in the local area of Redruth, and to achieve various outcomes for these audiences, for the organisation and for the local community.
This brief sets out the requirements for the commission which will run from early summer 2023 through the capital phase and continue until the completion of the final activity in the programme, which is projected to be early 2027.
Deadline for tender responses – 12 noon on 2nd May 2023
